Toyota is taking a groundbreaking step in the automotive world. The Japanese giant is preparing to introduce its first electric vehicle with autonomous driving technology, the Bozhi 3X SUV, to the Chinese market in 2025. This move demonstrates Toyota’s ambition in the field of sustainable transportation and advanced technology.

The Bozhi 3X SUV will offer drivers advanced driving assistance. The vehicle, which will stand out with its autonomous features, especially in parking, highway and city driving, will provide great convenience to users in China’s heavy traffic. Toyota is collaborating with Momenta Global, which also serves brands such as Mercedes-Benz, to develop this technology.

However, Toyota’s electric vehicle strategy is not limited to the Bozhi 3X SUV. The company plans to launch iron phosphate lithium battery technology between 2026 and 2027. This new battery technology will reduce the production costs of the current bZ4X model by 40%, making electric vehicles more accessible.

Fully Autonomous Toyota Bozhi 3X SU

Toyota is taking a cautious approach to the transition to electric vehicles. The company, which last year partnered with Mazda and Subaru to produce hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines, is pursuing a multi-pronged strategy. As part of this strategy, Toyota unveiled new electric vehicle prototypes at the Japan Mobility Expo, including the seven-seat Land Cruiser SE and the 400-mile range EPU: Electric Pickup with a range of 400 miles. The launch of the Bozhi 3X SUV comes shortly after Tesla’s Full Autonomous Driving technology was approved in China. This shows that competition in the autonomous driving and electric vehicle market is heating up fast.

Journey to the Future with Toyota Bozhi 3X SUV

Toyota’s move has the potential to shape the future of the automotive industry. The Bozhi 3X SUV is not just a vehicle, but a concrete example of Toyota’s vision of sustainable transportation. With its advanced autonomous features, eco-friendly approach with its electric engine and customized design for the Chinese market, the Bozhi 3X SUV looks set to be the pioneer of Toyota’s future mobility solutions.

This step taken by Toyota with the Bozhi 3X SUV demonstrates the company’s commitment to innovative and sustainable transportation solutions. It remains to be seen how this technology will develop and spread to global markets in the coming years.
