Spanish artist Alicia Framis has come up with an interesting project to explore the future of relationships between humans and artificial intelligence. In a ceremony at the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen museum in Rotterdam, she will be the first woman to marry a hologram generated by artificial intelligence.Alicia Framis questions the relationships of the future by introducing the concept of marriage with a hologram. The hologram is a sophisticated hologram called AILex, a specialized artificial intelligence entity designed to meet emotional needs. This intriguing marriage represents a relationship that does not involve physical contact but creates deep intellectual bonds. In describing her relationship with the hologram, Framis states that they share a deep emotional and intellectual connection.

Alicia Framis and Her Hologram Husband

Although the project falls under the category of performance art, Alicia Framis aims to think about the interaction between humans, artificial intelligence and contemporary art. Her relationship with the hologram offers a new approach to meeting people’s emotional needs and coping with loneliness. Through this project, the artist explores the interaction of artificial intelligence with humans and their emotional connection. She also shows how future human relationships may evolve with artificial intelligence and technology.

Alicia Framis is making preparations for the hologram wedding ceremony, while at the same time determining the outfits of those who will attend the ceremony on the roof of the museum in Rotterdam. She also collaborates with the Dutch food art museum LAM to design molecular food for the wedding banquet.
