Ali Spagnola wanted his car to have an unusual feature, so he developed the concept of a color change that looks like a giant mood ring. He wanted his car to be able to recognize not only whether he was happy or sad, but also to react to various situations. To make this interesting idea a reality, he covered his car with DIY spray paint using thermochromic liquid crystal paint. Here, thanks to this special paint, the color of his car reacts to temperature and offers a unique visual feast.
Cars are like a reflection of emotion through their design. A sports car with sharp lines represents excitement and passion, while a sedan with soft lines evokes elegance and maturity. For example, the aggressive look of a Porsche 911 conveys feelings of power and ambition, while the elegant silhouette of a Rolls-Royce expresses nobility and luxury.
The headlights of cars are like eyes; some look angry, some cute, some thoughtful. The LED headlights on the latest Mercedes models resemble the gaze of a technological genius, while the round headlights of a classic Volkswagen Beetle reflect joy and sympathy.
Color choices also play an important role in conveying emotions. Red stands for passion and energy, black for power and prestige, white for purity and modernity. Each vehicle is like a partner whose character complements the emotions and personality of its driver.

Ali’s creative project produced a stunning result that shows the transformation of her vehicle when interacting with a heat gun and sunlight. What was once decorated with just 9,000 PopSockets now looks like the Mood Ring Bathroom by Ali and Robby.
