After the iPhone 15 family received mixed reactions from users in September, Apple has been hard at work developing the iPhone 16 series. According to information obtained from two different sources, significant design changes are expected in the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models.
iPhone 16 Features
First of all, it is stated that the Dynamic Island sizes of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models will be reduced and the traditional pill design will be replaced by the perforated screen design that we often see on Android devices. With this change, the iPhone 16 Pro’s screen will increase from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches and the Pro Max’s screen will increase to 6.9 inches. It is also stated that the 5x tetraprism optical zoom camera, which is exclusive to the 15 Pro Max, will also be used in the standard Pro model of the iPhone 16. The pixel count of the ultra-wide-angle camera will be increased from 12 Megapixels to 48 Megapixels.
According to another source, various changes are foreseen in the design of the iPhone 16. These design changes include a vertical camera arrangement, a new capacitive Capture Button and a capacitive Action Button. The vertical rear camera arrangement suggests that the phone will have a different look than its predecessors. Also, a new button on the right side of the iPhone 16, the capacitive Capture Button, will feature a force sensor in addition to touch-switching functionality.

The Action Button draws attention as a feature carried over from iPhone 15 Pro. The Action Button, which has changed in size, will offer users various options in different configurations. In addition, it is stated that yellow, pink and midnight colors are seen among the various color options of iPhone 16.
In summary, iPhone 16 seems to offer a different experience to users with screen design changes and new button concepts in Pro models. However, it should be noted that the design is not yet finalized and additional changes are possible.
