Most fire pits are usually built of metal or stone. But is it possible to have a fire pit made entirely of glass bricks?
That’s what the HomeMadeModern page, known for its diverse designs and experiments, wanted to try. Due to the old look of hollow glass blocks and their lack of resistance to heat, the maker decided to experiment with some solid glass bricks. And the result is spectacular.
Fire Pit Made of Solid Glass Bricks
When the design is completed, the sight of the flames between the blocks is mesmerizing. Of course, it is worth noting. The test here was carried out in a very controlled environment, by competent people and under high security measures. It is also important to remember that different combustible or ignition materials can produce different results. So with controlled parameters or using a gas burner there may be no problem, but using a volatile fuel such as wood could challenge the reliability of the design.
